Description
The purpose of this course is to improve your assertiveness skills. This should enable you to express yourself more confidently and deal with difficult people, requests and situations in a more positive manner. There will be many tips and strategies such as the 'broken record' technique that can help you to do this. Assertiveness can also be described as the ability to express your needs and feelings honestly without being passive or aggressive, and without violating others' rights.

This course is for people who need more confidence when communicating with other people. It will help you learn to say "no" clearly and calmly.

You should expect to learn:

1) How to communicate calmly and confidently with other people

2) How to deal with demanding requests from other people

3) How to express your feelings clearly with other people

4) Ways that you can be assertive without being aggressive or passive.
